Set Up Guide

Setting up the pocket boost is easy and can be done in no time.

Step 1: Plug the Pocket Boost into your car

Locate the OBD port on your car by googling: *your car model* OBD port location, and selecting images.

Step 2: Connect to devices WiFi

As soon as the device is plugged in (and car is turned on), it will emit a WiFi connection. If you go onto your phone's WiFi settings, select WIFI_OBD2 and connect.

Step 3: Open the car sound app

You can use any app you want, but I recommend a free app called RevHeadz. Once on the app, press the OBD-II button>Connect(WiFi). Once you are connected, go back to the main menu and select the engine you wish to hear.

Step 4: Connect phone to car via aux cable

Aux is recommended as there is much less latency, but Bluetooth will also work. Once connected, you're ready to press DRIVE at the bottom. Have fun!

Common problems:

- Phone is on silent mode (make sure phone is NOT on silent)

- Not giving enough time to connect, it can take up to 30 seconds to connect

- Restart the app

- Make sure your engine is on and left running for a few minutes (allows the sensors to ‘warm up’)

- Unplug and re-plug it in

- Sometimes the Pocket Boost can take a few tries to get working, but please be patient, it'll be worth it :)
